Cloudscapes

Today a westerly wind bore spectacular cottonwool clouds to the land, dumping their contents bucket-like in patches. Such rain patterns allow one to anticipate where the rain will fall and occasionally dodge the drops, even getting washing dry through a series of trips to the washline in between deluges. Not often, though.
In my travels, I drove along roads that were either awash or completely dry, and the sky was a constantly changing cloudscape of billowing white and charcoal grey. Solid walls of water connected them to the ground. I just had to take photos of this spectacular display of nature!
